Busy week at the Highlands

Harvey’s back at the computer. Last week when we moved from the area north of the YMCA, Craig decided to use the old pro, me. We had to move the goats up some stairs and down the sidewalk to the trailer. Craig wanted to make sure the goats were moved in a controlled manner and Nessie can get too excited to listen at times.

We moved out of this relatively large area  for the Highlands last Wednesday. This is where my expertise came in handy to move the goats up the stairs and into the trailer.

Then we move the goats into some narrow areas between the houses and the woods. Craig had to fence along the woods and people’s backyards since it is not a good idea to depend on OPF (other people’s fences).

This may look like a goat proof but do not believe it especially for small kids or big goats that like to push. Also one board is broke a great spot to push through,

The goats on there last area before we leave for home tomorrow. They were getting a little talkative tonight as they think they are out of feed. They have ate the good stuff and are down to the grass.

Here Nessie and I are waiting across the road from the goats. It was a fairly nice spot to camp for a week. The small trees provided some shade. Tomorrow we are heading home for a week. Craig, Sue Lani and the grandchildren are headed to Council, ID to his Mom’s family reunion. It will be nice to  be back home after two months on the road.dog crew
