The project list is getting shorter which is good since we will be heading back out into the field next weed. We will be headed to Dayton, WA to work on the levees for Columbia County. Craig is plugging away at his project list. Today I got the opportunity to chase ground squirrels as Craig and Rich worked on the fence. They tore down a old corner brace that need to be replace and is in the way of the road project. The plan is to make the turn before going across the railroad tracks wider to make it easier to see if a train is coming. They also started working on closing the gaps under the fence along the railroad tracks to make sure no kids (goats) sneak under the fence. Always got to watch out for the holes when dealing with goats.
